Dr. Fernandez is a born and raised native of El Paso, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at El Paso. She then went on to graduate from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2005 and completed a three-year surgical residency in Miami, Florida in 2008.
She practiced in her native El Paso for four years before deciding to move to Houston, TX to join a large practice and continue perfecting her skills . She became board-certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She has been a member of The American Podiatric Medical Association and The Texas Podiatric Medical Association for over 15 years.
Dr. Fernandez has returned to her beautiful home town to open up her modern, state of the art, private practice and with her fluent english and spanish, she has been very well received by her patients.
On a personal note Dr. Fernandez loves to stay active, loves the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
